For the 2022 Suburban, three powertrains are available. And when properly equipped, this SUV can haul at least 1,800 pounds and tow up to 7,700 pounds.
The three powertrains are:
- 5.3-liter V8: Produces 355 horsepower and 383 pounds of torque
- 6.2-liter V8: Produces 420 horsepower and 460 pounds of torque. Available only on the RST, Z71, and Premier trims. Standard on the High Country
- Turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel six-cylinder: Produces 277 horsepower and 460 pounds of torque. Optional on every trim except the Z71

Four-wheel drive is available on all trim levels, except on the Z71, where it's standard.

The new Chevrolet Suburban provides an enjoyable driving experience thanks to its many amenities. Coming standard are features like a six-speaker audio system and eight-inch touchscreen, while higher trims offer leather seating, heated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
