The available powertrain options are:
- Gas powered 6.6-liter V8: Produces 401 horsepower and 464 pounds of torque.
- 6.6-liter diesel V8: An optional engine that can produce 445 horsepower and 910 pounds of torque.
Each engine comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and optional four-wheel drive. And for anyone looking to increase towing capacity, a dual rear-wheel setup is also available.
Utility
Depending on your needs, the cargo beds of the Silverado 3500 can come in one of two sizes a 6.5- or 8-foot variation and one of three cab configurations. These configurations are include a regular cab, double cab, and crew cab.
Technology & Safety
